Thames Valley Park was first developed in the 1990s, to capitalise on the outstanding natural setting by the river Thames. Giants like Microsoft and Oracle quickly moved in, taking over a site formerly occupied by the Earley Power Station. Today the park represents a new kind of power generator: a home for companies rooted in local authenticity but reaching for the skies in terms of global success and recognition.
International business
surrounded by idyllic
green space
Exceptional schools, a world-class university, and excellent restaurants, cafes, retail attractions and gyms are available in Reading’s thriving city centre. There’s also an array of picturesque walks, runs, cycle routes and adventure playgrounds beyond the park, in places like the River Kennet and Caversham Lakes.
Life in the Park
Thanks to its exceptional setting, Thames Valley Park enjoys a community atmosphere that’s a world away from the usual business park stereotype. There’s always lively chat around the weekly Blue Collar Street Food stall – part of Thames Valley Park’s famed #TVFoodFest, while Benugo Café and the David Lloyd gym, pool and café bring together people from all over the park. It’s an idyllic setting for a friendly sandwich at lunchtime, an invigorating run or contemplative wildlife stroll.
